The usual culprit behind ineffectiveness -- or the inability to accomplish a valued goal quickly and efficiently -- is resistance. And resistance builds in the face of unresolved conflicts until inertia or avoidance sets in. With self-awareness, you can identify this resistance early on and use insights from behavioral and motivational assessments to re-mediate and resolve the area of conflict. Then, growth without struggle or suffering can continue. In our businesses, isn't this where we want to be?

A fellow VAA from TTI Success Insights, Jeff Ruby, recently published an article that points out how different conflicts hold people back. It's a nice, succinct article outlining the impact of interpersonal, intrapersonal and job conflicts. Take a look at his LinkedIn post and reflect on areas of conflict in your life or workplace.
